Today is an era in which accessories created by the high-tech era, such as computer games and SNS, along with serious pandemics, become competitors in the playground, and children are increasingly reluctant to come out of the house. However, children’s imagination and creativity do not change. I think the continuation of pure imagination and creativity is essential for children living in the era of updated technology. We live in a rapidly changing world, and everything around us repeats change, disappears, and is reborn. However, there must be elements that must remain unchanged and that must be sustained. Maintaining the essence and keeping up with the trend of the high-tech world is a mission that must be kept, although it is quite difficult.

For humans, play is one of the most important activities in many ways. Play is useful for the development of the body, the acquisition of technology and social behaviour, and the development of individuality. In addition, the role of play in the process of identity formation and socialisation is important.

From this point of view, designing play and playgrounds can be said to be an important task that follows a considerable sense of responsibility that protects the pure nature of children. A world where all children can play healthy without being alienated and children are happy will be a world where we are happy.

It is very enjoyable and valuable for children as well as adults to imagine and participate in play together. Also, it would be more rewarding if people could realise the importance of the children’s community and find lost childhood through the mobile playground I created.

Like the title of the project, ‘Playground In My Mind’, I hope that through the speciality of the playground space, everyone of all ages will be more inspired and create their own interesting story.
